How would you like to know how I lost 15 pounds of flab in just a short period of time? After trying a lot of different weight loss tactics I finally found a few things that really worked for me. I lost this weight by doing things the right way. After all, there are really only a couple of ways to lose weight. However diet and exercise aren't always easy to do. I'd like to share with you a few tips that helped me stay motivated throughout the process.

Tip #1-

The first thing I did was cut calories. I lowered my caloric intake by 500 calories each day. Before I was eating around 3,500 calories each day. I lowered my intake to around 3,000 calories each day and I watched as the pounds started to slide off. Tip #2-

The next tip was to start eating healthier. Cutting my calories was a great way to lose weight. However, I knew that I needed to start eating healthier to drop even more weight. I did this by replacing one unhealthy meal each day with a healthier alternative. I did this each week for a few weeks. By then all of my meals were healthy. It's amazing to see how much weight you can lose just by eating healthier foods. After all, eating the right things can boost up your metabolism.

Tip #3-

I knew I had to get the last little bit of stubborn body fat off. I had done well when it came to eating healthy, but eating healthy will only take you so far. I knew that I had to start working out to burn the last little flab if I wanted to see my abs. I wasn't too fond of running on the treadmill. I really didn't like machines either. Instead I decided to go into it slowly. I chose to play basketball instead. Playing basketball burns the same amount of calories as running on a treadmill anyway. If you're not a fan of the gym I recommend you choose an activity that you enjoy and one that burns calories.
